Group Classes FAQ
How does your sliding scale work?
I generally offer my classes on a sliding scale to make them as accessible as possible. Everyone pays what they want/can along the given spectrum. If there were a fixed price, I would set it in the middle. Those who can pay more support those who need to pay less for whatever reason. It’s a bit of an unusual system, but it seems to get the job done and work out!
Will I get individual attention? How many people are in a class?
Yes. Except for Meditation, I cap classes at 12. For Accent Gym, it’s 8.
What if I need to miss a class? Are they recorded?
Yes, except for Meditation, all classes are recorded, and you’ll get a link by the next day.
How do I register for a group class?
Go to the Class Schedule, click the icon of the class you’d like to take, pick your price through the drop-down menu, and pay through the checkout system. I will follow up within 24-hours with a confirmation. If you don’t hear from me, send me an email here. While registrations rarely slip through the cracks, it is just me over here, so it happens occasionally. Reach out if you have any questions at all.
Do you offer refunds or credit if I need to withdraw from a group class?
Unless I cancel the class, I don’t offer refunds. If you withdraw up to 3 days in advance, I can offer a credit toward a future class (or a private session). Within 3 days, credit is contingent on my being able to fill the slot from the waitlist. If you withdraw same day or don’t show up for a class, I’m not able to credit the fee. Note, for multi-week classes (like Accent Gym), the cancellation period only applies before the first class, not each individual class.
No, seriously, I’m really bad at accents. Is that okay?
Yes. I’ll meet you where you’re at and find ways to help you gain skills and confidence. My classes are rigorous, but highly supportive and (I hope!) fun.
How do I schedule a private lesson?
Please email me, and we’ll set up a time to chat about your goals.
